Mom rented Goofy Sports from the library in 1983.

The family turned in and my throat is acting up again so I should go gargle. The duo, who is playing in the Promenade Bar; which is attached to the Internet Cafe, is appropriately named High Society. They are strange. Young, white, a lot of keyboards, and synth, and awesome fake drums and right now they are singing that amazing song, "Midnight at the Oasis," that you might know best from Waiting for Guffman. I always like the Internet Cafe better when they are bumping r and b from the satellite radio. Right before High Society started rockin "Southside" by Moby was playing and they faded it out and then the man from High Society (the lady is mainly the lead singer) playfully started playing "Southside" on the piano. Very clever. No, really, they seem nice and now they just seemlessly tranisitioned (or jammed into) a song that I know, but can't recall (sounds like Mike & the Mechanics) oh...no, I know what it is "Babylon" by David Gray. Killer stuff. Sounds good. He is doing a good vocal impression or maybe just "in the style of."

Both of the boys fell asleep at dinner, and then they both woke up and were crabby and crying. I hope I didn't give them the Strep. They eventually got better moods and we dropped Ethan (the baby) at the sitter and then walked around and ended up in the arcade and watched Harlan play some awesome games like Ocean Hunter, that Street Luge came I used to not like (but now I like it), Cruisin Exotica, and sit down Star Wars Trilogy. He was pumped up by it, and has a pretty good feel for the games for a 4 year old.

I am starting to feel a little better. Good ole Penicilin is doing its job. I am still sick, but it just feels good to know you are only going to get better from this point. This morning was sad and desparate.

The boat has CBS, and ABC, but no NBC so that means no SNL. Boo hoo. I wish I was on the west coast, on a coach with a blanket with randbbaby, and some soup.

Oh, sweet call High Society, "Wishing Well," by Terrance Trent D'arby (or TTD as he used to be called by his fans.)
