3-D Ruffles will never work.

Only talking to members of bands. Once it is clear that I am among them it is okay to converse. I feel your laughter from far away. Your black skirt and shirt is laughing at my coat (which only happens to be a sport coat, because my other coat is molting). The sport coat is mildly awkward looking but I thought you were progressive and told us what was hip and all, but tonight is the coldest night of the year, and you are laughing. After laughing, then you come over and bob and bob and bob, and it feels like you are mocking my dancing. This is an awful feeling.

I met new friends and old friends. I paid my weight in booze, and tried to make interesting ideas spring forth for new years. Who wants to make music happen on the streets of Downtown Portland on New Years eve? Let's do it.

I wish you, person far away, was wishing it was me that was near and all that gushy stuff. Kyle and I talked tonight about how I had co-opted his song a while ago and was singing, "I'm in love with every girl I have ever met, and I'm in love with every place I've ever been, and I'm in love with you...I bet," for like a week straight. Not his word, but his ideas.

Grunty is going through some hard times. He really is strugglin' with not being able to go outside and he is whiny and sad. I hope him the best. I should buy him some fake mice for CHRISTMAS.
